Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) – Contract

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Every Other Weekend & Holidays Required
Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Local Pay Rate: $60/hr
Estimated Weekly Pay (Local):$2,160/week

Travel Pay Rate: $67/hr
Estimated Weekly Pay (Travel):$2,412/week

Job Summary

Southwest General Health Center is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum process. The RN will collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience

• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience

• Experience caring for laboring and postpartum patients

• Ability to float to Postpartum as needed

• Strong fetal monitoring, assessment, and critical thinking skills

• Experience in emergency obstetrical situations preferred

Required Credentials

• Active Ohio RN License

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

• BLS Certification

• NRP Certification

• STABLE Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• NICU experience

• Level II Special Care Nursery (SCN) training

Setting

• Acute Care Hospital

• Labor & Delivery Unit

• Postpartum Floating Required

Floating Requirement

• Must float to Postpartum as needed
