Location: Lubbock, TX
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated women's services team in Lubbock, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout the labor and delivery process.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during deliveries and obstetric procedures.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
- Educate patients and families regarding childbirth, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatal teams, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Respond appropriately to obstetrical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based nursing practices.
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN License or Compact State RN License.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Current ACLS Certification.
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
- Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
