Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Pay: $1,800 weekly

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team at a nursing home in Newport, VT on a 9-week contract. This overnight role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive, long-term care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, medication administration, and documentation.

• Monitor and report changes in resident conditions to the healthcare team.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement care plans.

• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations.

• Support residents’ safety, comfort, and overall well-being during overnight hours.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Vermont (or compact license eligible).

• Previous experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting preferred.

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team during overnight shifts.
