Registered Nurse (RN) – Mease Dunedin, FL

A healthcare organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team. This role is responsible for assisting with diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular procedures, delivering high-quality patient care, and supporting positive clinical outcomes in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory

• Independently support diagnostic and interventional procedures with minimal supervision

• Assess, monitor, and provide direct patient care before, during, and after procedures

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

• Monitor patient responses and promptly identify and respond to changes in condition

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe and effective patient care

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

• Adhere to evidence-based practices and promote clinical excellence

• Participate in on-call coverage and support departmental operations as needed

• Demonstrate professional accountability and commitment to quality and patient safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Interventional Radiology, Electrophysiology, Emergency Department, or Critical Care setting; or two years of Telemetry or Progressive Care experience

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
