Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Rehabilitation
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg and Rehabilitation experience.
- Charge RN experience required.
- Minimum 3 months of previous travel experience.
- BSN preferred.
- Must be willing to float between Med Surg, Acute Rehabilitation, and other units within scope of practice.
- Travelers must have their own reliable transportation.
- Local candidates are not eligible.
- All requested time off (maximum 5 days) must be submitted with the application; schedule changes after submission will not be approved.
- Block scheduling is not available.
Required Documents:
- Current work history and permanent address.
- Medical Surgical skills checklist (completed within the past year).
- At least one supervisory reference from the past two years.
- Active Vermont RN license or Compact RN license.
- Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications.
Job Summary:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med Surg and Rehabilitation patients.
- Coordinate patient care, education, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of patient care.
- May serve as a backup Charge Nurse when needed.
- Document care using Cerner EMR.
- Maintain flexibility to float to other units within scope of practice.
- Adhere to attendance, scheduling, and facility policies throughout the assignment.
