Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Medical Surgical ICU team. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care, maintain clinical excellence, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Hour Night Shifts Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Current and active California Registered Nurse (RN) License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association. NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be obtained within 90 days of hire). Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Medical Surgical ICU within an acute care hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide safe and compassionate patient-centered care in the Medical Surgical ICU. Monitor, assess, and document patient symptoms, reactions, and progress. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Maintain accurate and timely patient records and reports. Uphold all standards of care, safety regulations, and hospital policies. Participate in continuing education and performance improvement initiatives. Behavioral and Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments. Sound clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities. Compassionate, detail-oriented, and reliable work ethic.
