Job Summary
NICU RN provides nursing care to critically ill newborns, supporting stabilization, treatment, monitoring, and family education in a NICU environment. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe care delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments, implement NICU‑specific care plans, administer medications, and manage ventilators/CPAP/high‑flow equipment.
- Respond to neonatal emergencies, resuscitations, and rapid changes in patient condition using NRP and PALS protocols.
- Provide parent/family education, maintain accurate documentation, and actively participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care coordination.
