    Description:

    Saint Alphonsus Health System, Idaho's only hospital system recognized by Forbes as one of America's Best Large Employers for 2025, is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Surgical Trauma (NeST) ICU team at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise, Idaho.

    This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd.

    As a nurse in the Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU, Idaho's only unit of its kind, you'll gain unique experience and expertise that sets you apart. This role is perfect for nurses who thrive in high-acuity environments and enjoy working with advanced technology.

    What to expect:

    • Utilizing your skills in a Level II Trauma Center and a Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center

    • Obtaining experience working in the FIRST and ONLY Neuro Surgical Trauma Unit in Idaho

    • Working with the only board certified, fellowship- trained neuro critical care doctors in the state

    • Caring for patients with neurological, surgical, or traumatic injury/illness that require intensive level care. This can range from a patient suffering from a multi trauma after a car accident, a spinal cord injury patient after a skiing injury, a patient with a spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage, a patient with new onset, undiagnosed seizures, or a patient with a stroke.

    • Being part of a unit that consists of 18 critical care beds

    • Providing next level care for patients in a state-of-the-art unit with the newest and most advanced technology and equipment

    Qualifications:

    • Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).

    • BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required within designated timelines.

    • Critical care experience preferred
