Department/Unit Summary 
This position provides comprehensive patient care by assessing and monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, coordinating care across the Cardiovascular Service Line, including but not limited to, Structural Heart Disease, Electrophysiology, CT Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Rehab, and Coumadin Clinic,  and managing follow-up for patients with cardiac devices. The RN educates patients and families, triages high-risk cardiac patients, performs post-operative assessments, collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and supports the implementation of clinical initiatives and protocols. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications and requirements 
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
-    BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire.
-    ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. 
-    2-4 years of acute care, cardiovascular, or electrophysiology nursing experience required.
-    1 year of specialized, recent experience directly related to electrophysiology is highly desired.
