Join a team dedicated to restoring independence and improving quality of life for patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other complex medical needs. The Nurse Manager plays a vital leadership role in overseeing nursing operations within an assigned unit, providing guidance and support to nursing staff, ensuring compliance with clinical policies and standards, and fostering a culture of excellence in patient care. Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and hospital leadership, this position helps optimize care delivery while promoting positive patient outcomes, professional development, and a compassionate healing environment. How you'll contribute

A Nurse Manager who excels in this role:

  • Provide overall direction and supervision of patient care and nursing personnel on the unit.
  • Consult with staff, physicians, and the Program Director regarding nursing practices and hospital policies.
  • Ensure nursing staff compliance with clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in incident investigations and the preparation of related reports.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet patient care needs.
  • Implement and uphold Standards of Nursing Practice across all functions.
  • Serve as the administrative representative in the absence of the Program Director.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Education: Associate's degree required. BSN preferred.
  • BLS Required
  • Previous Leadership Experience Required
  • At least 4 years of nursing experience required
