- Care for patients undergoing scheduled C-sections, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and immediate post-anesthesia (PACU) recovery support.
- Assist with and support procedures such as external cephalic versions, non-stress tests (NSTs), and cervical cerclage placement or removal.
- Collaborate closely with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, surgical teams, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe, coordinated care.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond rapidly to changes in condition using strong clinical judgment.
- Provide patient and family education throughout emergent and procedural care experiences.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in real time.
Required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or another compact licensure state.
Preferred
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Previous OB, Emergency Department, and/or Operating Room experience.
