Registered Nurse (RN) - On-Campus Independent Living

Full Time, 64 hours bi-weekly, 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.

Pennswood Village is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care to independent living residents located on our senior living campus.

In this role, you'll provide individualized nursing care to residents while working as part of Pennswood Village's health care team. All care is provided on our campus—no travel required.

The Position

As an RN in this role, you will:

• Provide nursing care and health assessments to independent living residents
• Administer medications and perform clinical nursing procedures
• Monitor resident needs and changes in condition
• Participate in individualized care planning
• Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and other members of the care team
• Complete required nursing documentation

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania RN license
• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
• At least one year of nursing experience
• Experience working with older adults preferred

Requirements: 

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Licensed to practice as an RN in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Additional education in physical assessment.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience is required
• Prior experience in geriatrics preferred.
