Immediate need for a talented Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology (Infusion). This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Jonesboro, GA (Stockbridge area)(Onsite). Key Responsibilities: Schedule: 8hour day shifts (Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm) Duration: 13 weeks (06/15/2026 – 09/12/2026) Expected Hours by Facility: 40 hours per week Location: Jonesboro, GA (Stockbridge area – metro Atlanta) Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other intravenous infusions per established protocols. Perform patient assessments prior to and during infusions; monitor for adverse reactions and manage side effects. Insert and maintain peripheral IV lines; access and deaccess central lines (ports, PICC lines). Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effect management, and followup care. Coordinate with oncologists, pharmacists, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient care. Maintain accurate documentation in EMR. Adhere to ONS chemotherapy administration guidelines and safety standards. Respond to infusionrelated emergencies (extravasation, anaphylaxis, etc.) appropriately. Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Must have skills: - Registered Nurse, RN, Oncology, Chemo Administration, BLS, OCN. Active RN License (GA or Compact State) AHA BLS certification (required) OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) or ONC certification (required) Minimum 2 years of recent experience in oncology nursing, specifically chemotherapy administration Outpatient oncology/infusion experience strongly preferred Ability to work 8 hour day shifts (Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm), 40 expected hours per week No local candidates within 50 miles (travel only) Strong IV skills, assessment, and patient education abilities Proficiency in chemotherapy administration and side effect management Strong knowledge of central line access and infusion protocols Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking Compassionate, patient first mindset Ability to work independently in an outpatient cancer care setting Registered Nurse, RN, Oncology Nurse, Infusion Nurse, Chemo Administration, OCN, Outpatient Oncology, Cancer Care, BLS, ONC, Travel RN, Atlanta Cancer Care, Stockbridge GA, Jonesboro GA, 8hr Days, Monday-Friday, 40 hours, 13 weeks* Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
