Local: $62.00 - $66.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to provide inpatient care to adult oncology patients, including patients with leukemia and lymphoma, while supporting complex medical and telemetry needs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute adult inpatient Oncology RN experience
• Leukemia and lymphoma oncology experience
• Strong Med/Surg/Telemetry background
• IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
• ASN required
• Active NJ RN or Compact RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Chemotherapy certification
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
• EPIC experience preferred
• English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• Telemetry certification/experience
• EPIC experience

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult oncology patients
• Care for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, and other acute oncology conditions
• Perform comprehensive assessments
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy
• Provide chemotherapy-related nursing care
• Monitor for treatment complications and adverse reactions
• Monitor telemetry patients and recognize rhythm changes
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Support quality-improvement initiatives
• Float to like units as required
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage
