A healthcare organization is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care for oncology patients in an acute care setting. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting patients and families throughout the treatment journey.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for oncology patients
Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders and established standards of care
Monitor patient conditions and promptly identify and report changes in status
Coordinate care and delegate appropriate patient care activities to other healthcare team members
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote safe and effective patient care
Apply evidence-based nursing practices to support clinical excellence and positive patient outcomes
Maintain professional accountability and participate in ongoing professional development initiatives
Promote a compassionate, safe, and patient-centered care environment
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification if required by the department
Minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
Previous oncology nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
