Registered Nurse (RN) – OR Circulator Location: Los Alamos, New Mexico Employment Type: Full-Time
The Registered Nurse (RN) – OR Circulator provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care by coordinating surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, collaborating with surgeons and anesthesia providers, and advocating for patients throughout the surgical experience. The RN Circulator plays a critical role in maintaining quality outcomes and ensuring efficient operating room workflow. The ideal candidate is a compassionate Registered Nurse with perioperative nursing experience who excels in a fast-paced surgical environment and is committed to delivering safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process.
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Ability to obtain PALS Certification within three months of employment.
Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
One or more years of Operating Room nursing experience.
OR Circulator experience.
Perioperative Nursing experience.
Acute Care Hospital experience.
PALS Certification.
CNOR Certification (preferred but not required).
Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills.
