Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

The Role

As an OR Registered Nurse, you will be the cornerstone of patient safety and individualized care. You will oversee the surgical experience from start to finish-assessing patient needs, coordinating with surgeons, and ensuring a sterile, efficient environment. We are looking for a teammate who balances technical precision with a high standard of customer service.

Schedule & Flexibility

• Hours: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period (bi-weekly).
• Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday.
• Coverage: Shifts fall between 5:30 AM and 5:30 PM (No weekends or holidays!).

What You'll Do

• Clinical Excellence: Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized care for surgical patients using established standards.
• Surgical Readiness: Assemble and manage all necessary supplies, instruments, drapes, and sutures for diverse procedures.
• Patient Advocacy: Act as a primary advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with physicians and staff to maintain a culture of kindness and accountability.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure: Current Nebraska RN license (or Compact State license with intent to obtain NE licensure within 30 days).
• Certifications: Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Experience: Previous Operating Room experience is preferred.
