Lake Regional is looking for an outgoing, compassionate, professionalRegistered Nurse in the Cancer Center. Key Job Responsibilities: The position is for a systemic infusion nurse. The ideal candidate will have an interest in the administration of chemotherapy, biotherapy, and immune therapies for hematology and oncology patients. Duties and responsibilitiesinclude patient assessment, symptoms management, infusion skills for varied types of infusions, patient care coordination with the hematology/oncology clinic as well as other mechanisms of care as necessary to meet patient needs. Cross-training to other areas of the Cancer Center can be expected. Representation at various events in the community may be necessary to represent our program and our services. Candidates must be willing to pursue OCN certification within two years of hire. Qualifications: RN with a minimum of 3 years Medical-Surgical experience. Oncology experience preferred. Must excel in the area of customer service. The ideal candidate will be patient-centered, friendly, positive, flexible, organized, and able to prioritize and function in a fast-paced environment with minimal stressand be teamwork-oriented. Annual influenza vaccine required.
