The PACU offers care with a patient ratio of either 1:2 or 1:1, depending on whether patients are ICU or pediatric cases. The unit includes between 6 and 8 PACU bays, and staff are required to hold ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications. Both inpatient and outpatient cases are managed within the PACU.

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
