Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Part-Time
(Monday to Thursday) After-School & Residential Program
Location: Newark, DE
Schedule: (3:00 PM 7:00 PM or 3:30 PM 7:30 PM) 16 hours week only
Rate: $48-50/hr

Position Summary

Provide compassionate nursing care for students (birth to age 22) who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deafblind in an after school and residential setting. Responsibilities include managing athletic first aid, monitoring seizure disorders, administering medications, and collaborating with staff and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care during after-school programs and athletic activities.
• Respond to medical emergencies, injuries, and administer evening medications.
• Maintain accurate health documentation and ensure compliance with Delaware regulations.
• Optional extra hours available for home/away athletic events and weekend tournaments.

Qualifications

• Active Delaware RN License (or Multistate Compact RN License).
• Current BLS certification.
• Pediatric, school nursing, residential care, or community health experience preferred.
