Preadmission (PAT) testing prepares patients for surgeries or procedures by completing lab work, EKG's and providing necessary education. Preadmission testing sees patients from the Main Operating Room, Surgery Centers, Labor and Delivery, Cath Lab, and Interventional Radiology.

The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is an exemplar for compassion, acceptance, respect, and empathy honoring nursing as a distinct discipline and supporting an environment focused on healing and wellness.
As a clinical nurse, this individual spends majority of his/her time (> 50%) coordinating, ensuring, and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through: provision of nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer, and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.
Requirements:
Current RN licensure
Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college/university or an Associate's Degree with a minimum of ten (10) years' experience required. In lieu of a bachelor's degree and less than ten years' experience, an Associate Degree in Nursing will be acceptable for initial hire with the understanding that the individual must be enrolled within 12 months in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. If not already certified, must obtain BLS within 30 days of their hire date.
ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
