Where You Will Work:
Atrium Health Floyd is launching an 11‑bed High Acuity Progressive Care Unit (HAU) in early 2026, offering an exciting opportunity to join a brand‑new, fast‑growing team. The HAU cares for high acuity medically complex patients with a dedicated 1:3 nurse‑to‑patient ratio. In the HAU you will have the opportunity to help shape the culture and care from day one, and play a key role in launching a unit designed for excellence. We are welcoming nurses who thrive and find fulfillment in a fast-paced, clinically challenging environment-and who value collaboration, autonomy, and continuous growth.

The Atrium Health Floyd family of health care services is a leading medical provider and economic force in northwest Georgia and northeast Alabama. Atrium Health Floyd is part of Charlotte, North Carolina-based Advocate Health, the third-largest nonprofit health system in the United States, created from the combination of Atrium Health and Advocate Aurora Health. Atrium Health Floyd also operates a stand-alone emergency department in Chattooga County, the first such facility to be built from the ground-up in Georgia.
