PreOperative/Post Operative Care Unit (PACU) Summary
- 22 bed Phase I & Phase II PACU
- Variety of Post-Op patients (Ortho & neuro surgery, OB/GYN, Plastics, Gender Affirmation, Robotics, everything except open heart and transplant cases)

Available Roles
- PACU Full Time Days/Nights- 36 hours per week
- PreOp/PACU Part Time Days - 32 hours per week
- PreOp/PACU Part Time Days- 24 hours per week
- PRN PreOp/PACU Days
- PRN PACU Days/Evenings/Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Schedules
- Full Time 36 hours per week: two days 11 AM to 11:30 PM & one day 7P to 7A. Call every 5th weekend.
- Part Time 32 hours per week: 4 eight-hour shifts varying PreOp & Phase II with Call
- Part Time 24 hours per week: two 12-hour shifts plus call 0600-1830
- PRN - 4 shifts in 6 weeks minimum, 2 nights or weekend shifts (out of the 4 shifts) in 6 weeks, 1 holiday per year or 1 hard to fill shift per year
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team
Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- For full-time roles, at least 1 year of RN experience required. 2+ years of Critical Care or ED RN experience strongly preferred. Experience with vents a plus. For PRN role - 2 years of Perioperative RN experience highly preferred.
- Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). ACLS, PALS preferred or PALS within 6 months after hire.
This position has a hiring range of :
USD $37.10 - USD $56.91 /Hr.
