A nonprofit organization in Brooklyn, New York is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical oversight, care coordination, and nursing support across multiple residential programs serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Setting: Residential / OPWDD setting
Responsibilities:
- Provide medical oversight and nursing support across assigned residential programs
- Monitor medication administration and address healthcare needs for residents
- Coordinate medical appointments and follow-up care
- Communicate medical updates to care teams, guardians, and family members
- Train and support direct care staff on healthcare and medication-related protocols
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license.
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to travel between assigned Brooklyn residences
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple residential programs
