Pay Rate
Local: $55.00 - $59.00/hour
Traveler: $60.00 - $63.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to telemetry patients while monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing non-titratable IV drips, and coordinating interdisciplinary care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• ASN required
• Active NJ RN or Compact RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Telemetry certification or successful Telemetry Competency Exam
• ACLS certification
• 4-hour Contact Stroke CEU
• Strong telemetry and cardiac rhythm experience
• EPIC experience and successful EPIC test-out
• English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of Telemetry experience
• BSN

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to Telemetry Observation patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments
• Develop individualized care plans
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition
• Manage non-titratable IV drips
• Administer medications and treatments
• Document patient care in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide patient-centered care
• Support evidence-based nursing and quality improvement
• Float to inpatient Telemetry units as required
