Job Diva ID: 26-05358 Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry Location: Glendale, CA 91206 Duration: 13 weeks Work Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Pay rate: $60 - $65/hr
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Assess patients' health conditions and monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient status.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
Provide nursing care to patients in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, as assigned.
Monitor ECG readings and recognize changes in cardiac rhythms, promptly reporting critical findings.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using the Epic EMR system.
Follow patient safety standards, infection control protocols, and established nursing guidelines.
Coordinate patient transfers and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Key Requirements:
Active California RN license
Current BLS/CPR certification
Epic EMR experience is mandatory
Must be comfortable floating between Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry units
Acute care experience required
