Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry 
Location: Manahawkin, NJ 08050
Duration: 10/12/2026–01/31/2027
Shift: Day
Schedule: 36 hrs/week, 3x12; every other weekend; no holidays; no scheduled on-call; float within facility to like units as needed
Pay Rate: $52-$56/hr.

Requirements

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience
• Telemetry and Step-Down experience

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years of experience

Required Education

• ASN
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred Education

• BSN

Required Licensure & Certifications

• NJ State Professional RN License or Multistate Compact License
• BLS – AHA
• NIHSS
• Telemetry Certification / Telemetry Competency Exam
• Tele Certification
• 4-hour Stroke CEU

• Telemetry, Patient Assessment, Therapeutic Nursing Interventions, Evidence-Based Practice

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
• Plan, implement and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Identify patient needs and determine priorities through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Develop, implement and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage assigned patient care.
• Document care according to standards of care, patient acuity and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centered care aligned with the professional nursing practice model.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
