Duration: 1 year contract with the possibility of 4 optional years
Shift Schedule: Day shift only, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No nights, weekends, or federal holidays.
Credentialing / Onboarding Time: 6 to 8 weeks
License: Current, unrestricted RN license - any U.S. state accepted
Certifications: Current BLS
Education: Degree or diploma from a State-approved professional nursing program
Experience Needed: Minimum 2 years of recent direct patient care in a clinical/ambulatory setting
Special Skills Needed: English proficiency (written and spoken); Medicare/Medicaid program eligibility; EHR documentation proficiency; adult and pediatric care competency
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, assessment, triage, and EHR documentation for adult and pediatric patients in walk-in and scheduled appointments.
- Administer medications, immunizations, and wound care as ordered by licensed providers. Assist with procedures and point-of-care testing, and provide patient education.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and IHS standards of care.
- Handle patient phone inquiries and scheduling.
