AS THE REGISTERED NURSE (RN), UTILIZATION/QUALITY REVIEW, you'll be responsible for oversight of all clinical record documentation, utilization management and coding reviews for Penn Highlands Community Nurses home health and hospice and private duty business lines. Expectations of the position include: Compliance with current regulations and industry standards for home health and hospice related to clinical documentation and coding. Insure streamlined, efficient and coordinated quality/Utilization review activities throughout the organization. Insure accountability for identification of trends and follow through, reduce redundancy and maximize focus and workload on priority areas. Insure that there is appropriate home health or hospice expertise to conduct quality/UM review activities within each region. Allows for consistency and scalability as new markets are acquired and additional performance improvement priorities are identified.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid PA Nursing License
  • Must have minimum of 5 years prior home health and/or hospice experience including 3 years of management and/or Quality Improvement/Utilization experience.
  • Must have excellent understanding of Quality Review and Utilization Management
  • Must have excellent coordination and communication skills.
