  • Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.
Responsibilities:

This position is accountable for the provision of safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective care on the patient care unit to which assigned.  Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal, and regulatory standards. Provides nursing care to patients receiving treatment in Infusion Therapy Clinic. Stays current with Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements;

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho or approved Compact State. 
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required- must be obtained within 14 days of hire. 
  • One year experience in infusion therapy delivery to patients is required. 
  • Remain current with center-wide occupational educational programs. 
  • Must attend and participate in departmental and center-wide meetings as they relate to Infusion Therapy. 
  • Ability to navigate and apply Infusion Therapy Standards of Practice.
