As a Registered Nurse - SDS/ENDO you will assess, plan, perform, document, and evaluate professional independent nursing practice at Lakeview Hospital; to provide work direction for and oversight of the nursing care provided by unlicensed personnel; to perform and document functions such as carrying out the provider's medical orders; to assist providers with diagnostic and treatment procedures; to provide a safe and therapeutic environment; to coordinate, communicate, interpret, and explain patient care services to the patient his/her family, health professionals and important others; to perform related duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: 20 hrs weekly / 0.5 FTE; Monday-Friday day/eve hours on call requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or equivalent.
Licensed as a RN by Minnesota Board of Nursing or has a Wisconsin RN License and Minnesota Boarder State Registry
Current BLS - American Hart Association or BLS - American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
ACLS certification required from AHA within 6 months of start date if not present at hire.
Minimum of one year (2080 hours) current RN SDS and/or surgery center experience in Pre & Post Op required.
Minimum of one year (2080 hours) current RN Endo experience required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Baccalaureate or Master's degree in Nursing
Associate Degree prepared nurses enrolled in Baccalaureate in Nursing program
Specialty Certification in the RN's area of expertise (e.g. CCRN, PCCN, CNOR, CPAN, CAPA, etc)
