Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Contract

Location: Sierra Vista, AZ Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible) Schedule: 3×12‑hour shifts weekly Type: Contract Assignment

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) contract opportunity in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This role offers a stable schedule, a supportive clinical environment, and the potential to extend based on performance and facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care to PCU patients requiring intermediate‑level monitoring
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
• Administer medications, infusions, and therapies according to care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Respond to changes in patient condition and follow PCU protocols
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Support daily clinical operations within the Progressive Care Unit

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Arizona or compact)
• PCU, Stepdown, Telemetry, or similar experience preferred
• Strong critical‑thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to patient‑centered care

Schedule & Contract Details
