*It is required that all nurses, including travelers, are proficient in reading, identifying and reacting to cardiac rhythms. These floors are true cardiac floors and not understanding rhythms can be detrimental to a patient's health*
Shift: DAYS (0700-1930) Weekend Req: Every other weekend
Ratios: 1:4 Years of experience REQ: 1 yr (Preferred 2 years) First-timers accepted: Yes Certs REQ: ACLS , BCLS, NIH
Locals accepted: No, must live outside 50 miles Pending License accepted: Yes, must be active prior to start date
Special Requirements: Must have telemetry and cardiac/stroke experience. Some cardiac drip experience is required See a variety of drips: Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone and Lasix for examples Have beds able to do hemodialysis (HD done by outside company) so we do see renal patients All modes of oxygenation other than vents.
