What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience in an acute care setting
  • Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
  • Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to onboarding
  • Skilled in titratable gtts such as Cardene, Cardizem, Insulin, Heparin, Neo, Levophed (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Experience with chest tube management, tracheostomy care, peritoneal dialysis, CSF drains, and telemetry monitoring is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled

Additional Skills That Set You Apart:
  • Experience supporting multiple units such as Stepdown and MedSurg
  • Proficiency in EMR systems like Meditech Expanse
  • Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including RT, OT, PT, and hospitalists
  • Comfortable managing cardiac monitors and printing strips per shift

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Registered Nurse license in good standing
  • At least 2 years of recent acute care RN experience, particularly in stroke or neurological units
  • Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, but first-time travelers with the required experience are welcome

Other Requirements:
  • Must be separated for at least one year if previously employed as a permanent staff RN
  • Ability to provide reliable transportation and work a flexible schedule
  • Willingness to wear designated scrub colors and maintain professional appearance
  • Ability to cover various units in a traveler-friendly environment
