Registered Nurse Supervisor

About the Role:
MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team in San Francisco, CA. 13-week contract. 12hour shifts Sunday, Monday & Friday. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
• Oversee daily clinical operations, staffing assignments, and shift coordination
• Monitor and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and standards
• Serve as a resource and point of escalation for complex patient care situations
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to nursing team members
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and administrators
• Ensure adherence to state, federal, and facility regulatory requirements and Joint Commission standards

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or charge nurse role
• Strong knowledge of nursing best practices, patient safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
• BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS preferred
• Excellent leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
