As a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) center, we provide skilled nursing and therapeutic care for children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for up to 12 hours a day, Monday through Saturday. Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Summary:Our RNs provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to children from birth to 21 years old in a developmentally appropriate, center-based setting. You will be an essential part of a multidisciplinary team that supports each child’s medical and developmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care following physician orders and individualized care plans.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies.
- Document all care accurately and promptly.
- Monitor, assess, and respond to the needs of medically fragile children.
- Communicate effectively with parents, physicians, and team members.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning.
Qualifications:
- Current Florida RN license in good standing.
- Current CPR certification (PALS preferred).
- Pediatric nursing experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate and dependable with a genuine love for children.
