At Learning Tree PPEC Tampa, we believe nursing is more than a job, it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of medically complex children and their families. As a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) center, we provide skilled nursing and therapeutic care for children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for up to 12 hours a day, Monday through Saturday. Our mission is to deliver exceptional, compassionate care while helping every child reach their highest potential. As we continue to grow, we are looking for dedicated and compassionate nurses who are passionate about pediatric care to join our team in the following roles:


Registered Nurse (RN)


Position Summary:
Our RNs provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to children from birth to 21 years old in a developmentally appropriate, center-based setting. You will be an essential part of a multidisciplinary team that supports each child’s medical and developmental goals.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide nursing care following physician orders and individualized care plans.

  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies.

  • Document all care accurately and promptly.

  • Monitor, assess, and respond to the needs of medically fragile children.

  • Communicate effectively with parents, physicians, and team members.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning.

Qualifications:


  • Current Florida RN license in good standing.

  • Current CPR certification (PALS preferred).

  • Pediatric nursing experience.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

  • Compassionate and dependable with a genuine love for children.
