What You’ll Do
  • Provide patient-centered care on a busy MedSurg/Telemetry unit
  • Monitor and respond to patient conditions, including cardiac rhythms
  • Manage wound care, drains, and pain management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, RT, PT, OT, and others
  • Support patient safety and compliance standards
  • Float across Med/Surg units as needed
  • Complete appropriate documentation in Meditech Expanse EMR system
What You Need Required
  • Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible to practice in Louisiana
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in acute care
  • Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
  • Strong wound management skills and experience with complex patient care
Preferred
  • Experience with Telemetry and Post-Operative Care
  • Ability to adapt quickly to unit workflows
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
