What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality care for telemetry patients in a busy hospital environment
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies
• Support post-operative and general medical-surgical patients, including those with cardiac conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Assist with wound care, patient education, and emergency response as needed

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or RN compact license
• Minimum of 2 years recent hospital RN experience, including telemetry
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment
