What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care for patients with cardiac monitoring needs
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to arrhythmias promptly
• Administer medications and IV therapies with precision
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hospitalists and specialists
• Manage post-op and acute-care patients, including post-cardiac procedures
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Support patient safety through wound care, vital sign assessment, and cardiac rhythm interpretation

What You Need
Required:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or telemetry experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Ability to pass EKG competency exam
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience with post-operative cardiac care and orthopedic recovery
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
