Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry to provide high-quality nursing care to acute-care patients requiring continuous cardiac and vital-sign monitoring. The ideal candidate should have hands-on Telemetry experience and at least 1 year of acute-care RN experience within the last 5 years.
The RN will monitor patients, recognize changes in cardiac rhythms and clinical condition, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in an acute-care Telemetry setting.
- Continuously monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
- Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition and promptly report findings.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, treatments, and other physician-ordered interventions.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient response to medications and treatments.
- Communicate significant changes in patient condition to physicians and the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, nursing assistants, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient status
- .Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- in the applicable state or Compact RN license.
- Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute-care environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred/required based on facility requirements.
- Experience with an EHR/EMR system preferred.
Compensation
$47–$52/hour, depending on experience.
