Responsible for delivery of patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
Assumes a lead role in patient teaching. Places the patient at the center of care practices.
Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity.
Requirements
Ability to work every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.
Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
Education/Certifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Licensed RN. BSN preferred.
Experience
Previous experience preferred, but not required.
