Schedule: Full Time | Days (7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) | Weekend & Holiday Rotation
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical Transplant Unit. This role is ideal for a nurse with a strong background in surgical and med/surg care who is ready to take the next step in their career. You'll be part of a highly skilled team caring for abdominal transplant patients, including fresh kidney and liver transplant recipients, as well as urology and transplant rejection patients transitioning from ICU or PACU.

A Day in the Life
As part of our Med/Surg Transplant team, you'll manage a diverse and rewarding patient population, including fresh post-op transplant recipients and complex surgical cases. Each shift offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with surgeons, transplant coordinators, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless, high-quality care.
Our nurses typically work three 12-hour shifts per week. Weekend and holiday rotations are equitably distributed among team members to support work-life balance.

Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process. Provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records. MHHS hires RNs based on years of experience groupings. (i.e. newly licensed RN [working under the supervision of RN clinical preceptor], less than 1 year, 1-3 years, 3 to 10 and 10+).
