We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with Urgent Care and patient triage experience for a 6-month temporary assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced Urgent Care setting while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. This position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts and the ability to assess, prioritize, and manage patients efficiently.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift Options (Rotating):
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Shift rotation is required. Work hours may vary based on operational needs.
Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with established clinical standards and best practices.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, prioritise care, and conduct accurate nursing triage.
Deliver timely care for patients presenting with acute illnesses, minor injuries, and other Urgent Care needs.
Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and preventive healthcare.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical records.
Follow all infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Support efficient patient flow while maintaining exceptional standards of patient care and customer service.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Required: Recent Urgent Care nursing experience.
Required: Demonstrated patient triage experience in an Urgent Care, Emergency Department, or comparable ambulatory clinical setting.
Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment is strongly preferred.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association or equivalent CPR/AED certification).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to prioritise multiple patients while delivering safe, efficient care.
Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems.
Bilingual skills are not required.
