• Pay Rate: $60.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 6:30 AM 7:00 PM (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)

Job Summary

This is a contract Registered Nurse position in the ICU unit, requiring experience across a broad range of critical care sub-specialties. The unit consists of 42 beds (East 20, West 22) spanning Neuro/Med (22), CTICU (6), and Surg/Trauma (14). Floating to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding) is required as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in the ICU setting across Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surg/Trauma sub-units
• Manage and care for patients with common diagnoses including Neuro/Med: Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post Stemi
• Manage and care for CTICU patients including CV Surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA; Surg/Trauma patients including Trauma and Major post-op surgeries
• Operate and monitor specialty equipment including IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Artic Sun)
• Float to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding) as needed

Required Skills

• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Travel nursing experience required

Preferred Skills

• Heart/cardiac experience highly preferred (prioritized by hiring manager)

Education Requirements

• Active NY RN License required (verified via NURSYS Report)
• ALL RN licenses must be active and verified
• Current AHA ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU
• Travel nursing experience required
