Registered Nurse

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking two Registered Nurses for full-time opportunities with a client of ours in Winston-Salem.

This role is ideal for an experienced ASC or PACU nurse who is comfortable supporting patients throughout preoperative preparation, procedures, sedation monitoring, recovery, and discharge.

Position Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, beginning at 6:15 a.m. End times typically range from 1:00–3:00 p.m.; employees are expected to receive 40 hours per week. Flexibility may be required based on patient volume.

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $29–$36 per hour, based on applicable experience
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients upon admission to pre-op, procedure, and recovery areas.
• Obtain and monitor pre- and post-sedation vital signs.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Administer medications and safely carry out physician orders.
• Monitor patients receiving moderate or deep sedation.
• Support airway protection and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate nursing interventions and ensure patients are prepared for discharge.
• Provide patient education, post-procedure instructions, and follow-up calls.
• Document assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses.
• Communicate patient updates to physicians, anesthesia providers, management, and clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate surgical, procedure, and narcotic logs.
• Inspect emergency equipment and initiate emergency measures when necessary.
• Maintain clean, safe, and properly stocked procedure and recovery areas.
• Protect patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and employee orientation.

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS certification.
