JOB SUMMARY
HealthRIGHT 360, a nonprofit organization and a family of programs, is committed to providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable populations. Our mission is to tackle systemic barriers to healthcare and promote health equity for all. We offer a wide range of services, including mental health care, residential and outpatient substance use treatment, and primary health services. Additionally, we provide transitional support for individuals re-entering the community after involvement in the criminal justice system. By integrating physical and behavioral health, we empower individuals to overcome challenges by addressing social determinants of health, fostering resilience, and facilitating recovery.
The 815 Residential and Detox Program The program fully integrates substance use disorder and mental health services; beyond merely providing both services under the same roof or cross-training staff, it adopts a model of providing effective services to the targeted needs of individuals with co-occurring disorders. The program treats both problem types as primary and assists participants to recognize key reciprocal factors such as self-medicating strategies; physiological and psychological changes associated with long-term substance use; and the impact of street drugs on mental health symptoms.
The Withdrawal Management (WM) RN is responsible for the clinical monitoring of Withdrawal Management clients and leads a team including but not limited to licensed nurses and/or medical assistants and SUD counselors. In collaboration with the Addiction Medicine team, the Registered Nurse supports the provision and education of, and adherence to, Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) where appropriate. The Registered Nurse oversees Drug Medi-Cal documentation compliance, such as documenting medical necessity of WM services; the ongoing training of WM staff, including quarterly skills-checks; and oversees medication storage, disposal, and control in the milieu.
