Registered Nurse (RN) – Wound Care
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join a reputable 317-bed acute care teaching hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced travel clinicians and first-time travelers looking to expand their expertise in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center that utilizes Epic (Excellian) for electronic medical records.
Position Details
Specialty: Wound Care RN
Shift: Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekend Requirement: None
On-Call: Not required
Floating: No floating outside the assigned scope of practice
Block Scheduling: Available upon request
Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year of Wound Care RN experience
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Epic Experience: Required
Required Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification (WOCN)
Licensing Requirements
Active RN license required
Pending nursing licenses are accepted at the time of submission
Candidate Requirements
Local candidates are not eligible (must reside more than 100 miles from the facility).
Requested Time Off (RTO) should ideally not exceed five days during the assignment.
Guaranteed Hours
The facility guarantees scheduled hours; however, the client reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts during the assignment without penalty. Hours designated as on-call do not count toward the guaranteed minimum hours.

After Orientation:
Night Shift: Free parking in the hospital ramp.
Day/Evening Shift: Parking is available in:
Lot E (approximately 1.5 blocks from the hospital), or
Blue Ramp (across from the hospital).
Parking fees are charged every two weeks and must be paid in full at the start of the contract. Payment is accepted by cash or check only.
