Immediate need for a talented Registered Nurses - Emergency Department (ED). This is a 02+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, Georgia (Onsite). Key Responsibilities: Shift: Night Shift Duration: 8 weeks (start date between 05/04/2026 – 05/18/2026; latest start 05/18/2026 – end date 06/27/2026) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Overtime: Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier); Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on multiplier) On-Call: No Perform rapid triage, assessment, and prioritization of patients of all ages Provide emergency care for adult and pediatric patients with medical, surgical, and traumatic conditions Initiate and monitor IV access, administer medications, and manage critical drips Assist with emergency procedures including intubation, chest tube placement, and central line insertion Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and neurologic status Coordinate with emergency physicians, trauma team, and ancillary staff Document all care accurately in the EMR Respond to trauma activations and code situations Provide patient and family education regarding discharge instructions and follow-up care Maintain patient safety and infection control standards in a high-acuity environment Float within the main ED as needed Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric emergency experience Large facility / high-volume emergency department experience Active RN license (Georgia or compact) AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications – all required Level 1 trauma center experience – preferred TNCC and/or ENPC – preferred Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Licensure/Certification:-Active RN license in the State of Georgia or valid eNLC compact multi-state license – required AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) – required AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – required TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – preferred ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) – preferred Experience:-Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric emergency experience – required Large facility / high-volume emergency department experience – required Level 1 trauma center experience – preferred Previous travel experience – preferred Skills:-Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment abilities Proficiency in adult and pediatric emergency care Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced trauma center Excellent communication and teamwork skills Calm and effective response to emergency situations Additional Information: Candidate Type: Travel Only Location: Atlanta, Georgia (specific facility details provided upon interview) Setting: Main Emergency Care Center – Level 1 Trauma Center Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric Start Date: Must start by 05/18/2026 at the latest (05/04/2026 preferred) Conditional Compliance: Allowed for credentialing proven to be in process Updated resume with 4+ years of adult and pediatric ED experience Skills checklist matching specialty Active Georgia or compact RN license AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS cards TNCC/ENPC preferred (not required but strongly preferred) Badge-appropriate photo All demographic information Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
