Registered Oncology Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities:

The Oncology Pharmacy Technician

• Is committed to supporting the mission and goals of the infusion center to ensure provision of excellent patient care.
• Safely and accurately prepares chemotherapeutics and other medications for patients while following USP 797 and USP 800 regulations and standards (under the supervision of a pharmacist).
• Other tasks may include assignments to help support the goals of the infusion center and support efficient workflow.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education

 

Certification and Licensure

• Registered Pharmacy Technician or Registered Pharmacy Technician Trainee in Pennsylvania
