    Responsibilities for pharmacist

    • Prepare sterile products including large/small volume parenterals
    • Modify, clarify, and verify medication orders through the interdisciplinary medical team
    • Dispense controlled drugs following state and federal regulations and hospital policy
    • Maintain proper inventory control by monitoring stock levels to ensure adequate drug supplies
    • Perform computer operations
    • Perform unit inspections of designated patient care areas
    • Assist the director in preparing all necessary materials for committee meetings and clinical pharmacy activities
    • Provide oversight within the hospital's pharmaceutical department
    • Providing medication information to clinical staff and maintaining inventory and necessary records
    • Process physician medication orders

    Qualifications for pharmacist

    • Enter medication orders into pharmacy profile
    • Prepare, compound, and dispense medication for patient use according to policy and procedure
    • Oversee and assume responsibility for all medication-related work performed by pharmacy technicians and supportive personnel
    • Check and ensure that pharmacy technician and supportive personnel's work is accurate
    • Distribute medication to nursing units or other patient care areas in a timely manner according to policy
    • Monitor patient's medication therapy

    Job Type: Contract

    Salary : Negotiable

    Expected hours: 30 per week
